Let me play devil’s advocate. What if the Chinese teacher has said something to you like “the drawing is nice, but other teachers might not allow you to do this”, still with a smiling face? You should have learnt the lesson one way or the other, with totally different effects. I’m not saying that the first teacher should be responsible for your bad memory. But the fact is a good guy with good intention may not always give rise to positive results, worse still if without the good guy’s awareness.

近年與起的NLP講座，其中有個治療就是呼喚自己內心的孩子，我記得我與之對話的內心孩子亦是約十歲時的自己，被一名老師傷害過的小學生。由成年的自己對過去的自己作出安撫，完成後心境舒坦！

Some teachers teach with their heart and passion, some just do it for the pay and power to abuse. A teacher has the ability to make or break a kid’s interest in school and success in life. Unfortunately, some teachers do the latter.
