所以說，「四面夏娃」其實是一個很厲害的名字。
很久以前，在某福至心靈的一刻我曾意會，SATC那四個女子其實是「一個」女人。她們是一個女人的四個面貌，或四種慾望，或不同階段的不同需要／爭扎。聰明絕頂的編劇安排她成為四個典型的角色，由四個原型（archetypes）互動對話遇上各自「必須」遇上的男人。怎可能不入心入肺（還是么心么肺）呢？怎能不賣個滿堂紅呢？
你大概也玩過那些心理測驗吧。你是Miranda還是Carrie？大膽假設：其實你我同時擁有這四女的特質和慾望，分別在於你顯露那一個出來，壓抑那一個在底。
回程飛機上連續六小時讀完了一本小說，抄錄一段下來：
